Good day! I purchased a Mio Sporty Yamaha Motorcycle with engine number 40C1-000238 at Norkis Yamaha Sobrecarey St. corner Mabini St., Tagum City Branch last May 2, 2009. It was been a year ago and until now there's no plate number provided by the company. I always keep on follow up almost every week/month. How can I deal with this matter? Any help please.

good day mam, i'm not an employyee of norkis but allow me to share my views...

i once bought a kawasaki motorcycle  not from norkis, & i also experienced what you are experiencing now... very long wait for the plate number to come. as far as i know, the motorcycle dealers have no control when the plates would be available, it's up to our 'super-efficient' LTO

but of course, norkis sales should not be absolved of the responsibility to do the follow up, & to properly explain the situation to the customers

my name is charlie manuel from camiling and i also bought a yamaha mio amore @ the camiling, tarlac branch and the manager PROMISED me that my plate will be released in 3 months and i havent even received a notification that it has already been arrived. the employees say "mabagal ang process sa LTO". i understand where these guys are coming from BUT my question is, why were they able to release the plate number of a friend of mine in less than a week who threatened the local branch at his place that he'd return his unit unless the plate is released?  considering that other individuals purchased their units way ahead of him (were talking months here). another friend of mine got his mio last october 2009 and guess what? his plates havent been released yet!

in regards with my issue, ive been flagged down by the LTO numerous times and was questioned in regards to the certification i had which was issued by my dealer which caused lots of delays due to the no plate no travel policy and it is really an inconvenience since i use my purchased bike to go to and from work.

i also want to dispute the policy on why my cash payment was turned down within the 3month period which i was promised  as ok to be able to make such payment. me and my dad had more than enough cash with us to for the mio i bought but was turned down. instead  of having the money sleep, i bought  a honda xr instead and CASH.

my frustration and apprehension to be flagged down by the LTO deputies has gotten to the point of not being able to use the unit.

i know about the terms and conditions rerading the monthly installmet i inadvertenty wasnt able to make a payment for a month. now your guys at my local dealer hound me me with texts and calls regarding payment. what about the inconvenience i am going through? i made an agreement which i had fulfilled but what about on your agreement with me as your customer? i can pay the late fees but can you repay the troubles ive been through not being able to fully utilize the unit? i know im not the only one with this issue. i just hope your company could fix these. live up to your word so more customers will patronize your products.
